- i lived with my best friend, sam, for the summer. although our schedules rarely meshed and she was out of town for about three weeks straight, it was so much fun having that time with her!
- i spent a lot of time with some people from the branch and got to know them a lot better. stephanie and i got to be great friends... she lived one apartment complex over- there was a hole in the fence so we could just walk on over! one of the most fun things we did as a ysa group was go on a canoe trip in augusta. the savannah river is absolutely fantastic! a direct quote from that day was "it was a lot of fun. dogs were bought, people were hit by boats."- ryan jennings. andrea really did buy a dog off the side of the road. and i got hit in the shoulder by a motor boat (not quite the crisis that it sounds, i assure you). on the way home, a few of us went to the drive in theater. it was a very long day but oh so much fun.
- my nephew was born! june 12 (only three days before my prediction!) around 12:30 a.m at 8 1/2 lbs and 20 1/4 inches. he was such a gorgeous newborn! holding him for the first time was the best feeling- being so close to something so perfect, a spirit who had just left our Heavenly Father, completely untouched by the world. how special that was. i haven't been around him nearly as much as i should, but it has been so much fun watching him grow.
- i have yet another life plan. but i'm pretty positive this one is it! hahha so here it is- i'm taking the year off from school, working (some what) full time. then in april/ may sometime i plan to move to charleston (about time, i know.) and finish up school at trident. their physical therapy assistant program starts a semester earlier than midlands (and i refuse to go back there anyway). so i would start in the summer semester and be done with school by the following spring. hopefully!
anyway, i think what would help me keep up with my blogging would be actually having something to write about. i don't have a very exciting life at the moment, so there's nothing really there. i'm not an insomniac of any sort anymore so i'll be needing to change the name of this as well...
